I was supposed to post this yesterday. Then my place got some snow–something I haven’t seen up close in years—and I got fascinated, to say the least.
Another weekend has begun for many, and while I have to wait till Sunday night for my weekend to start, I can always look back at how I spent last weekend. If you’ve been following me on my Twitter or Instagram, you’d know I spent President’s Day weekend in the stunning seaside city that is Santa Cruz. I shared a few pics there, but I got plenty more here after the jump.

Part of a mural outside the Mystery Spot–an attraction I’ve been meaning to check out for years!
Their bumper sticker cars, along with an indoor sign smack of hilarious irony.

Up the hill to the mystery house. It’s a lot more wonky than the image shows.

The house that is the Mystery Spot. No, I did not slant my camera on purpose and you are not on acid; that’s how the house really is!
Product placement at its finest. 😀
Not pictured: my favorite SC thrift store, Thrift Center on Water Street. I like going there when I’m in town, and their prices are way better than what you’d see at a certain “good” thrift store, hint hint. Since it was a holiday weekend, everything in the store was half off!
What I did capture, though, was an unusual sighting at the SC Wharf: Cookie Monster!

Two things I always have to see when I’m at SC: the many sea lions at the wharf, and the sunset.
The Beach Boardwalk and Cowell Beach at dusk.

Until next time, Santa Cruz!
