Hi! If you’re wondering, Lexine is a pen name, I’m cis-female, openly Bisexual, and my pronouns are She/Her.
I’m a Fil-Am Bay Area native/resident in my early 40s who has had a penchant for writing since childhood. Since the late 1990s, my works, which include poems and short stories, have been published in local newspapers and national anthologies (albeit under other pen names and my given name). In addition to writing, I enjoy reading, hiking, photography, traveling, making low-carb eats, vintage fashion/glamour, watching sports, burning sweet-scented candles, soaking up juicy gossip of my favorite celebs, standing up for democracy and the rights of women, minorities, and the LGBTQ+ community, and caring for my inner child. I currently have a day job that’s not in the literary field, but I hope to make writing my full-time profession in the near future.
This blog will showcase my writings, inspirations, and the many things I adore. I’ll try not to get too personal here, but no promises will be made. It’s my blog, after all. While I have my faves, I don’t stan for anyone or anything. (Except maybe cats and bacon.) And I definitely will NOT stand for the following: sexism/misogyny, racism, fascism, homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, xenophobia, antisemitism, body-shaming, slut-shaming, rape-defending, pedo-supporting garbage, leftist/DSA horsecrap, and MAGA/conservative bullshit.
